Agricultural Challenges in Sangli District of Maharashtra in the Context of Global Food Security
Description
Since ancient era agriculture is major backbone of Indian economy. An irrigation source has considered as an impact factor on growth of agricultural production. Changing global climate has also affected on the face of agriculture. The Krishna river is the major source of agriculture in sangli district. But agricultural struggles resonate with larger concerns about global food security, which refers to the availability, accessibility, and utilization of food for the global population. Sangli's experience serves as a valuable case study for understanding the interplay between local agricultural challenges and global food security.
