Ammalo fervidus Walker, 1855a: 622. — Type locality: [Colombia], [Cundinamarca], [Bogotá]. — Type specimens: Described from 3 syntypes (BMNH; one male syntype labeled TYPE).
Halesidota megapyrrha Walker, [1865] a: 308. — Type locality: North America. — Type specimens: Described from 3 female syntypes (BMNH; one male specimen (!) without locality labeled TYPE [on the left of the specimen]).
Halesidota chrysogaster Walker, [1865] a: 312. — Type locality: [Colombia], [Cundinamarca], Bogotá. — Type specimen: Holotype male (BMNH).
Ammalo impunctus Grote, [1866]: 236. — Type locality: Cuba. — Type specimens: Undisclosed number of syntypes (ANSP; not found).
TYPE LOCALITY. — Suriname.
TYPE SPECIMENS. — Undisclosed number of syntypes (?).
