Idalus rubens Schaus, 1905: 207.

Araeomolis guianensis Joicey & Talbot, 1916: 56. — Type locality: French Guiana, Saint Jean du Maroni. — Type specimens: Described from 3 female syntypes (BMNH; one of the syntypes labeled TYPE).

TYPE LOCALITY. — French Guiana, Saint Jean, Maroni River.

TYPE SPECIMEN. — Holotype male no. 8565 (USNM).
