ANALYSIS OF TECHNICAL RELIABILITY OF INFORMATION SOURCES IMPACT FOR ITS RELIABILITY

The paper analyses the influence of real technical reliability of information sources on its reliability. A method of improving the reliability and security of information based on the majority principle of redundancy is proposed. With the majority decision-making method, it is very important to take into account the principle of ‘who is in favour instead of ‘how many are in favour, i.e. to take into account the priority of those information sources that have higher functional characteristics, namely, a higher probability of reliable information with high technical reliability.
