The teaching of English as a second or foreign language has evolved significantly over the years, incorporating various methodologies aimed at improving learner proficiency. This article examines some of the most effective methods for teaching English, including the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach, Task-Based Learning (TBL), and the integration of technology in language instruction. By analyzing theoretical perspectives and empirical research, this study highlights how these approaches enhance student engagement, motivation, and linguistic competency. The findings suggest that a balanced combination of interactive, student-centered methods and digital tools fosters a more effective English learning environment.
