Description
The Vizsla (Smooth), also referred to as a Hungarian Pointer, Magyar Vizsla, or Magyar Pointer, is a beautiful, noble-looking, intelligent, and versatile breed excelling at various tasks presented to them. Vizsla may become a hunter, show prospect, competitive or non-competitive performance sport athlete, or simply a companion. Such versatility is due to hundreds years of selective breeding and betterment of the breed, its traits and abilities. This paper reviews the newsletter and other archival records between 1850 and 1969 that cover stories about the first Vizslas in Canada.
