Description

Romanotyphlus Struyve, 2022

Romanotyphlus Struyve, 2022: 9.

Type species: Romanotyphlus metaliferensis Struyve, 2022. Original designation.

Diagnosis. Gular sutures confluent in midlength of head, from confluent point again separated in two, divergent sutures; labrum edentate; antennae with 11 antennomeres, antennomeres 5 larger than 4 and 6, antennal club with 3 antennomeres; tarsal formula 2-2-2; aedeagus asymmetric, parameres short with one strong, distal seta.

Remarks. Monospecific genus, recently described from Romania.
