Description

This PhD research explores healthcare management and service delivery at Benadir and Adan Abdulle Hospitals in Mogadishu, Somalia, focusing on administrative efficiency, resource allocation, and patient care quality. It aims to assess the challenges faced by these hospitals, including financial constraints, human resource shortages, and infrastructural limitations, while evaluating their impact on patient satisfaction and health outcomes. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, the study will analyze hospital management structures and identify areas for improvement. The findings will provide evidence-based recommendations to enhance healthcare efficiency and service delivery in Somalia. Conducted at Hope University with support from the Gate African Education Trust, the research spans from 2021 to February 2025.
