ROLE OF AUDIO AND VIDEO RECORDINGS IN DEVELOPING PHONOLOGICAL COMPETENCE IN MIDDLE SCHOOL LEARNERS

The purpose of this article is to examine the function of audio and video recordings in the evaluation of phonological competence in middle school students. The research emphasises the efficacy of these recordings as instruments for assessing phonetic awareness, fluency, and pronunciation in a more comprehensive and authentic manner than conventional assessment methods. This paper investigates the influence of these tools on the phonological development of learners and examines their advantages and challenges in the classroom by analysing their implementation in educational contexts. Additionally, suggestions are offered for the integration of audio and video recordings into phonological assessments.
