This data relates to the publication, 'Observed and simulated teleconnections between the stratospheric Quasi-Biennial Oscillation and Northern Hemisphere winter atmospheric circulation' in JGR-Atmospheres, submitted 2018.

It consists of data produced by a HadGEM3-GC2 piControl run.

The purpose of the publication is to explore the relationship between the QBO and the winter northern hemisphere atmospheric circulation.

The data consists of the following:

  1. MSLP dataset. See attributes in netcdf file for more info.
  2. QBO index at 15 hPa. See attributes in netcdf file for more info.
  3. QBO index at 30 hPa. See attributes in netcdf file for more info.
