Description
This inception report provides a preliminary descriptive analysis of data from the 2023 survey, focusing on the FIS ‘bridging questions’ – those questions that have been asked across the three waves of the survey since 2013. The purpose of this report is to give a broad overview of the present state of Scottish farming in 2023, complementing data from the June Agricultural Census, and highlight some longer- term trends that can be observed by looking across the survey waves.
