Funding Feminist Change: 20 Years of Action and Solidarity

The Feminist Review Trust commissioned this review of its work as part of a legacy and learning exercise during the winding down of its operations over 2021–2023. The Trust has been a beacon of funding to feminist projects across the UK and globally since 2001. It was registered as a charity with the UK Charity Commissioners in 2005.

Over the past 22 years, the FRT has allocated some £500,000 in small grant funding across some 188 projects, reaching across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, the USA, Latin America, Africa and Asia. The purpose of this review is to reflect and gather learning from the 20 years of grant making by the FRT.
