Zotero 101: Where do I put my pile of pdfs?

New researchers can often feel overwhelmed by the amount of reading they are doing and how to manage it. Join us for an Introductory course on the Zotero research management software: in other words, a training on where you can put your pile of pdfs.

This training might be especially useful to researchers who aren't used to using any kind of research software (often the case for e.g. humanities PhDs)

What you will learn

By the end of the course participants will

• Understand the capabilities of Zotero (and other reference management software)
• Be able to use it to store, organise and annotate the papers that they are reading, as well as to reference papers in Word

Format

The course will be online. We'll send you some short easy tasks to set up in advance.

There will be a 90 minute online training with an hour of interactive tutorial, and half an hour to experiment with other Zotero functions and troubleshoot.
