Description
These tutorial videos serve as supplementary resources to help students digitize tidal data, including high and low tidal points and hourly intervals, across two phases: Phase 1 (2024-2025) focuses on Kilrush as a training dataset for the Module Oceanography (GY369), while Phase 2 (2024-2025) centers on Dún Laoghaire, using both training and real datasets for Geography Research Workshops (GY310B) as part of student assignments and training at Maynooth University. These resources complement the paper titled "Evaluating Student Involvement in Sea Level Data Rescue" and provide essential training to enhance the accuracy and engagement of students in tidal data digitization projects. While the emphasis is on assignment submission—which may not be directly relevant to those using these tutorials solely for training—it offers insight into the data submission process in student training and may inspire approaches for other projects. All tutorials and README files are located within subfolders inside the compressed folders for each phase.
