Description

These are files that are useful for running experiments detailed in Law et al. (2026), Exploring the conditions conducive to convection within the Greenland Ice Sheet, The Cryosphere (egusphere-2025-784). 

Perhaps the simplest way to run this is using the ASPECT Docker instance (https://aspect-documentation.readthedocs.io/en/latest/user/install/docker-container/installing-docker.html).

Within apect_prms/inputs/ each run can then be controlled using the runner.py script which will cycle through the .prms produced in prm_generator 

scripts/ymax_extractor.py can be used to extract y data from .vtus. The problem is that the aspectdata package requires additional permisions (and we are therefore not at liberty to share it under a Creative Commons license).
