Description
Biological control agents are increasingly used to manage Fusarium infections. Specific microorganisms, such as various Bacillus species, show promise in suppressing Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici (Fol), which causes Fusarium wilt in tomatoes. Here, the whole genome sequencing of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens 05JL, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens 07JL and Bacillus velezensis 11JL are announced. The genome of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens 05JL size is 4131480bp, distributed in 18 contigs with an N50 of 528543 and 46.13% GC. The genome of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens 07JL size is 4131480bp, distributed in 18 contigs with an N50 of 494614 and 46.12% GC. The genome of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens 11JL size is 4039844 bp, distributed in 11 contigs with an N50 of 999826 and 46.20% GC. These strains exhibit potent antifungal activity against Fusarium oxysporum both in vitro and in tomato plants. The analysis of these bacillus genomes may lead to gain insights of new enzymes and other biomolecules of interest for its application in the fields of agriculture as a biocontrol and plant growth-promoting microorganisms.
