The term Iron Deficiency Anemia generally refers both to Iron deficiency anemia on pregnant women. Most of which are related to a poor diet which can lead to severe and repeated infections, particularly in under privileged populations. Inadequate diet and diseases, were related living way, the environmental condition, and whether the population is able to meet its basic needs including the balance food, housing and health care. Iron deficiency is a health outcome as well as a risk factor for disease and can increase the risk of both of morbidity and mortality rates on the related Iron Deficiency anemia. pregnant women were associated with 54% of child deaths, anemia in pregnancy is a serious health issue that frequently affects underdeveloped nations and can have a detrimental impact on pregnancy. A risk factor for 50% of maternal fatalities is anemia. (T. Darmawati et.al,2018)
The essential component of hemoglobin, that carrying oxygen (the oxygen-carrying Pigment in the blood). Iron is normally obtained through the diet and by the recycling of the iron from an old red blood cells and in the absence of the required iron blood concentrations, blood cannot carry oxygen effectively and hence normal functioning of every cell in the body will be affected.
Anemia is one of the most common conditions that could affect pregnancies, with a dietary iron deficiency being the commonest cause. Maternal anemia were associated with a high risk to both the neonates and mothers.
