Description
Data from the laser scanning project of the touristic sector of Caverna do Diabo (Caverna da Tapagem / Devil's Cave).
This was part of the research project "Application of high-resolution digital elevation models in geology and geomorphology" funded by FAPESP (grant 2016/06628-0)
The survey was in 2017, in a collaboration with the FARO company.
Here the are PLY and XYZ files of the point cloud and 3D-meshes, in several resolutions, given in the file names (so "mesh_19M.ply" means this is a mesh with 19 million faces and so on).
If you use the data, please cite the published abstract (available here as PDF) and the grant number (as in "data from project FAPESP #2016/06628-0"). This is the abstract reference:
