This presentation was given for the Pollux @ HWO 2025 workshop held in Meudon, France on Jan. 22-23, 2025. It provides an overview of the science cases for a potential high spectral resolution spectropolarimeter that could be installed on the focal plane of the Habitable Worlds Observatory.
