Description

Version control makes changes to files/data traceable. As such, it is a very useful tool for working collaboratively on a project. This presentation provides a brief introduction to version control with the tools Git and GitLab, which are commonly used in this context. Using them can lead to a better data quality and overall project success.

This presentation is based on: Berger, C. (2023, Juni 15). Versionierung mit Git und Gitlab. HeFDI Data Week, online. Zenodo. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.8301167
