COMPARAÇÃO DE SIMULADORES PARA NANO DRONES CRAZYFLIE: UMA ANÁLISE DAS FERRAMENTAS E PROJETOS CRIADOS PELA COMUNIDADE PARA PESQUISA E DESENVOLVIMENTO

Description

Due to their compact design and versatility, Crazyflie nano drones have gained popularity among researchers and enthusiasts. However, space limitations and costs related to physical testing make it difficult to develop and test control algorithms for these nano drones. Simulators provide a large virtual environment for experimentation and development to help overcome these cost and physical space barriers. This article compares the available simulators for Crazyflies nano drones, analyzing criteria such as realism, performance, physical engine, and ease of use. The projects and tools developed to collaborate with these simulators were also used and analyzed. As a result, it can be concluded that the profile and needs of the user determine the ideal simulator. Those that prioritize ease of use and simplicity are more suitable for beginners. On the other hand, more experienced users may benefit from simulators that offer a greater degree of realism and connection to the real world, despite requiring greater technical expertise.
