Description

Software Management Plans (SMPs) play a critical role in ensuring the quality, sustainability, and reuse of research software. Across ELIXIR and the broader scientific community, there have been numerous efforts to establish best practices for software management, including leveraging tools like the Data Stewardship Wizard (DSW) for planning. These efforts recognize the growing importance of structured guidance for researchers developing software as part of their projects. Our initiative builds upon this foundation to create a robust solution tailored to ELIXIR stakeholders’ needs while remaining aligned with international best practices.
