LOFAR Lightning Imaging
Description
The software package is written for Imaging lightning flashes using data from LOFAR.
It covers the impulsive Imaging mode as well is the Time Resolved Interferometric 3D (TRI-D) imager.
The Impulsive imager is described in
"The Initial Stage of Cloud Lightning Imaged in High-Resolution"
O. Scholten et al, JGR, Volume126, Issue4, 27 February 2021, e2020JD033126; https://doi.org/10.1029/2020JD033126
The publication on the original TRI-D imager is published in PRD, see https://link.aps.org/doi/10.1103/PhysRevD.104.063022
This version is an update of the TRI-D imager, taking into account the antenna function and the polarization of the source.
The main directory of the distribution contains a .pdf with a description of the program.
