Code and Data Files for the manuscript Iterative Design of Centralized PID Controllers Based on Equivalent Loop Transfer Functions and Linear Programming

Description

These code and data files are for the research article to IEEE Access titled "Iterative Design of Centralized PID Controllers Based on Equivalent Loop Transfer Functions and Linear Programming", doi: https://doi.org/10.1109/ACCESS.2021.3139214.
The data files include: 1) scripts and functions coding the proposed design methodology and 2) scripts and functions to obtain the results and figures of the examples in the paper.
All these scripts and functions are coded in MATLAB language (https://es.mathworks.com/products/matlab.html) using its Control toolbox. The code was run on a pc with Windows 10.

There are to folders (Example1_2x2 and Example2_3x3), one for each example presented in the article. Inside of each folder there are:
- A main file to perform the control design and simulation of each example. These files are Ejemplo1_2x2.m and Ejemplo2_3x3.m.
- Functions where the proposed methodology of control design has been coded.
- Functions to plot simulation responses and frequency responses.
- A folder with the data files .dat and a script to obtain a plot presented in the article and related with the convergence of the proposed iterative procedure. This figure is also included in format .fig. 
- A folder with data files .dat and a script to obtain the figures with the simulation responses shown in the paper.
The header of these files is commented indicating their functionality. They allow you to compute the control design proposed in the article and to obtain the related figures as they can be seen in the paper.

NOTE: the data files also include the corrected version of Figure 9 (Figure9corrected.tif) since in the publication this figure is partially wrong as it does not show the second loop signals and the legend.
