Description
This article investigates morphonological alternations in English, Uzbek, and Russian, employing a comparative-typological approach. The focus lies on identifying commonalities and divergences in how these languages handle sound changes within morphemes. The analysis reveals that while all three languages exhibit instances of vowel and consonant alternations, the underlying mechanisms and the extent of their occurrence vary significantly.
