R codes used for descriptive analysis of data for the manuscript titled "Insights on improving accessibility and usability of functional data to unlock its potential for variant interpretation"

This zip file includes: 

1. R markdown file including codes used for analyzing data from a survey designed to explore how functional evidence data is being utilized in variant interpretation. Of note, the name of the data frame in the code is "FuncSurv_nofr_clean", but the name of the dataset included here is "FuncSurv_df".
2. Survey dataset from the survey. Of note, free text responses and demographic variables except for years of experience of the survey respondents were excluded from the data provided. However, the r code provided includes codes utilized to analyze the excluded demographic variable.
3. Data dictionary outlining definition of each variable.
