This public deliverable is part of the COcyber Work Package (WP) 4 dedicated to ”Know-how, good practice sharing and information transfer activities” led by Université Libre de Buxelles / Solvay Business School. This report was prepared by EIT Digital in the framework of task 4.3 PESTEL analysis and policy recommendations.
Abstract
This report presents the Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal and Environmental (PESTEL) analysis of the whole cybersecurity sector (both on the defence and civilian sides) to identify aspects affecting cyber governance and the development of cybersecurity technology and information transfer in Europe. It will inform all stakeholders about the gaps and opportunities in Europe’s cybersecurity sector and help design coherent policy recommendations.
COcyber is a two-year initiative supported by the European Commission and European Cybersecurity Competence Centre to foster the collaboration of civilian and defence cybersecurity sectors.
