This article explores the causes of mathematics anxiety, the various consequences it has on learners academic and personal lives, and the coping strategies that have been shown to mitigate its impact. Through a literature review, we aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of how mathematics anxiety develops, its effects on performance, and practical approaches for educators and students to address it.
