Acoustic and Optical Emission Process Monitoring for Laser Surface Treatments

David Diego (AIMEN) participated in a workshop in Dresden focused on "Laser Process Monitoring – Offline, Inline, Online"  (https://www.iws.fraunhofer.de/en/events/laser-process-monitoring.html). His talk was entitled "Acoustic and Optical Emission Process Monitoring for Laser Surface Treatments". In addition, he presented several projects that he and his group are working on, including GENEX. The presentation focused on the general aspects of GENEX and part of his work on Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBs) within the project
