Description

Heat Hazard Return Period

The following R-script was used to analyze the historic air temperature data from the DWD 3946 meteorological station of Plauen, Germany. The analysis was used to calculate the percentiles for each day of the year and define days with heat waves. Moreover, the air temperature was calculated for a specific percentile (return period of 500 days) to match the simulated value used in the ENVI-met model. The raw and processed data are also included in this folder.
