General Description

This dataset provides high-resolution (1 km) flood susceptibility maps (FSM) for the Mediterranean region, delivered in Cloud Optimized GeoTIFF (COG) format.

The maps represent a probabilistic assessment of flood susceptibility by integrating:

  • Dynamic variables: soil moisture, precipitation
  • Static variables: elevation, slope, land cover, proximity to rivers, drainage density

The dataset supports disaster risk assessment, flood hazard mapping, and spatial planning, enabling consistent and comparable analysis across the Mediterranean region.
