Aspects de la Vie Socio-culturelle au Sénégal dans Le Revenant et La Grève des Battu d'aminata SowFall

Résumé

Le Sénégal est un pays dont 90% des citoyens sont des croyants fervents de l’Islam. Aminata SowFall n’hésite pas à nous brosser des aspects de cette vie socio – culturelle de son pays riche en culture dont elle est fière. La littérature, dit-on, est le reflet ou le miroir de la société. SowFall en profite pour jeter un regard sur la société sénégalaise de son temps. Ces aspects consistent en la mendicité, le maraboutage, la naissance et le baptême entre autres.

Abstract

Senegal is a country where 90% of its citizens are adept faithful of Islam. Aminata SowFall does not hesitate to paint a picture of some aspects of the socio-cultural lifestyle of her culturally rich country which she is proud of. Literature, it is said, is a reflection or the mirror of society. SowFall, taking into consideration this characteristic of literature, x-rays the Senegalese society of her days. These aspects comprise of the art of begging, the role of marabouts in her society, childbirth and naming ceremonies among other things.
