Contribution of Fungi to the Global Biodiversity Framework

The purpose of this brief is to demonstrate the importance of fungal species for achieving the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework goals and targets. While it was created by the network of experts leading the development of a Global Strategy for Fungal Conservation for the CBD CoP16 in Cali, Colombia, it can be used and shared widely to promote the inclusion of fungi in conservation policy and action.
