Globalization processes, modern technologies and economic development have a significant impact on the education system. These changes require improving the quality of education, introducing new pedagogical methods and further improving the personnel training system. In this regard, the dual education system is of great importance in training specialists, allowing students to acquire practical skills along with theoretical knowledge. Although the dual education system is widely used mainly in vocational education, it also shows its effective results in higher education. This article discusses the pedagogical foundations of the dual education system and its role in training specialists.
