Description

This repository contains data and code associated with the study “Numerical Framework for Uncertainty Quantification in Wave-Structure Interaction Using SPH-FEM Coupling”. The work presents a one-way coupled Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) and Finite Element Method (FEM) approach, integrated with uncertainty quantification (UQ), to analyze the probabilistic force responses experienced by structures in wave-structure interaction (WSI) scenarios. The Tokyo wave flume geometry is used as a test case, offering a benchmark for potential surrogate modeling. The model is validated against existing numerical and experimental data, and results are provided for both breaking and non-breaking wave conditions.

Contents of the dataset includes:

  • SPH-FEM simulation scripts
  • Geometry and mesh files for the Tokyo wave flume setup
  • UQ analysis scripts and post-processing tools
  • Sample input/output data
  • Validation results
