Description
Abstract
Teacher job satisfaction should be a matter of concern for educational institutions. The objective of the research was to discover which factors influence teacher job satisfaction. The study was carried out at a private university in Colombia, using a quantitative and descriptive methodology. The entire teaching staff was surveyed (76). It was determined that respondents consider that there are different factors that must be considered to keep teachers motivated, satisfied and committed. In conclusion, poor management of these variables leads to job dissatisfaction and with it there is a risk of lowering the quality of education, as well as causing teachers to develop Burnout Syndrome, even considering resigning from their jobs.
