Berosus Leach, 1817: 92 (Type species: Dytiscus luridus Linnaeus, 1760).

Paraberosus Kuwert, 1890a: 113 (Type species: Paraberosus nigriceps Kuwert, 1890a).

Euberosus Acloque, 1896: 94 (Type species: Dytiscus ludrisus Linnaeus, 1760).

Hygrotrophus MacLeay, 1873: 131 (Type species: Hygrotrophus nutans MacLeay, 1873).
