Граматичка истраживања академика Милке Ивић – Предлошко-падежни систем и обавезна детерминација у српском језику

This paper presents one aspect of Milka Ivić’s grammar research, namely, the one that the author considers to have been an essential point of interest for the renowned expert in the Serbian language and general linguistics. This is the research on the Serbian prepositional case system and the phenomenon of non-omissible determiners; what is also considered is the theoretical and methodological approach applied in the examined papers. The impact of these investigations on more recent research in the Serbian studies is singled out as particularly important.
