Ising 2D T'-Expansion Scheme (Ising-2DTExS) Equation of State module
Authors/Creators
Description
The Ising-2DTExS module of the NSF-funded MUSES project enables to calculate a family of 2D equations of state of nuclear matter, at finite temperature T and finite baryon chemical potential µB, including a first-order phase transition and a critical point from 3D Ising model. It employs the so-called T'-Expansion Scheme (TExS), based on an effective temperature T' which is defined as an expansion in µB, using lattice coefficients kappa computed at µB = 0 as expansion coefficients (these coefficients being related to susceptibilities). The critical point, which critical region can be shaped freely and location can be chosen along a parametrized transition line, is mapped to QCD from the 3D Ising model universality class. It can be used to compute nuclear equations of state for a temperature range of 30 < T < 800 MeV, and for baryon chemical potential values 0 < µB < 700 MeV, at zero electric charge and strangeness chemical potentials.
