Abydos is a Python library of phonetic algorithms, string distance measures & metrics, stemmers, and string fingerprinters such as Soundex, (Double) Metaphone, NYSIIS, Alpha-SIS, Beider-Morse Phonetic Matching, Levenshtein(-Damerau) distance, Jaro(-Winkler) distance, Jaccard similarity, and Pollock & Zomora's skeleton & omission keys.
