General distribution. This species has a wide distribution occurring in parts of the Afrotropical Region (Cape Verde Islands, Kenya, Tanzania), most of the Palaearctic Region, and parts of the Oriental Region [India (Jammu, Kashmir), Pakistan (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa)] (Jansson 1986, 1995; Kanyukova et al. 2002, 2016; Taybi et al. 2018; Kment & Carapezza 2022; Berchi et al. 2023). In Romania, this species is known throughout the country (Fig. 28).
