General distribution. From northern Africa, northern Mediterranean peninsulas and central Europe to southeastern Asia (Jansson 1986, 1995; Fent et al. 2011; Cianferoni 2013; Grandova 2013, 2014a; Boda et al. 2015; Kanyukova et al. 2016; Stoianova & Simov 2016; Shapovalov et al. 2018b; Stoianova 2018; Protić & Nadaždin 2019; Berchi et al. 2023). In Romania, this species is known throughout the country (Fig. 3).
