Myrmeleon lentus Walker, 1853: 346. Type Locality: Country unknown, probably India or Bangladesh [East Indies].
Indian distribution: India [no further locality] (Walker 1853: 346; Stange 2004: 153).
World distribution: China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Vanuatu (Walker 1853: 346; Esben-Petersen 1928a: 226; Banks 1931c: 419; Kimmins 1957: 289; Kimmins 1958: 249; Nakahara 1971a: 61; Stange 2004: 153; Oswald 2024a).
