India, highlighting their morphological, habitat, and geographic distribution
characteristics. The analysis reveals a wide range of growth habits, from herbs to
large shrubs, and diverse habitats, including evergreen forests, shola forests, and
wetlands. The species exhibit varied flowering and fruiting patterns, with some
species flowering every 6-8 years, while others flower every 10-15 years. The
study underscores the importance of conservation efforts to protect these species
and their habitats and highlights their potential applications in medicine,
horticulture, and ecology.
