LC-MS/MS based untargeted metabolomics of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum var. "Kashi Aadarsh") susceptible to Ralstonia solanacearum

Description
The image data is of LC-MS/MS based metabolomics of tomato Solanum lycopersicum "Kashi Aadarsh" infected with Ralstonia. As per the experimental set up, the first set of plants were those which were control i.e. grown without inoculation of the pathogen and the second set of plants were infected with Ralstonia solanacearum. The time line for the collection of samples for extraction of metabolome and then generation of metabolomics data were 5 and 10 day of inoculation (DAI). Both the leaf and root samples were collected and extracted using ethyl acetate followed by methanol to get non-polar and polar metabolites. The pooled extract of leaves and roots were subjected to LC-MS/MS analysis to generated metabolome data. This variety of tomato is susceptible to the Ralstonia pathogen and therefore, the data was generated to check the metabolic responses of susceptible tomato genotype against the pathogen.
