Análisis de dispositivos de captura de movimiento aplicados a tratamientos de rehabilitación y programas de entrenamiento deportivo
Description
This work focuses on the development of a motion capture system tailored for rehabilitation treatments and sports training programs. Leveraging advances in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), the proposed system aims to address critical challenges in these fields, such as ensuring the correct execution of prescribed exercises without the constant presence of a specialist. By combining a motion capture device with software capable of analyzing and storing movement data, the system provides feedback to users and healthcare professionals, enabling progress monitoring and tailored adjustments to treatments or training regimes.
The project emphasizes usability and affordability, proposing a solution that integrates seamlessly into home environments. It includes a motion capture device to record spatial movements and orientations over time, a software application to guide and monitor the user's performance, and a historical data analysis feature to assess improvement. This innovative approach supports remote supervision, enhancing access to specialized care, reducing costs, and improving patient adherence to rehabilitation and training programs.
