CHORD PAINTING

Authors/Creators

Description

Music, painting, based on chord fields, both have physical (quantized spectrum), mathematical forms of chords, expressing chord space, chord time and their mirror relations respectively, both of which are both physical and mental events.

Chord space is expressed by strings (open, closed, membrane), and painting is its observation basis and application field, which is the main content of this book.

Strings are the spatial semantics of chords, and chords are the characteristic spectrum of strings: different chords contain different spatial semantics: major triads = closed chords (contour lines), minor triads = open chords (facet lines), proportional sequence chords = membrane chords (non-linear space), the three types of strings form a spatial field (string field) and produce all spatial states and interactions.
