Dynamical Properties of PPI Networks (DyPPIN)

The collection contains datasets that describe dynamical properties (DP) computed for pairs of proteins in Protein-Protein Interaction Networks (PPIN). DP values are derived from DP computed for Biochemical Pathways (BPs). Currently we provide values for the sensitivity property.

The  repository is organized as follows:

• DyBP (Dynamics of Biochemical Pathways) contains the properties computed via simulations of computational models in BioModels.
  • {property}.csv files storing the values for biochemical species pairs (DyBP) / protein pairs (DyPPIN) for each DP. Each .csv file has 4 columns:
    • 'BiomodelID': the BP identifier
    • 'Input': the input species name.
    • 'Output': the output species name.
    • '{Property}': the value for the DP holding for the input/output pair.
• DyPPIN (Dynamics of Protein-Protein Interaction Networks) contains the DPs computed for protein pairs in the BioGRID PPIN.
  • {property}.csv files storing the values for biochemical species pairs (DyBP) / protein pairs (DyPPIN) for each DP. Each .csv file has 4 columns:
    • 'BiomodelID': the BP identifier
    • 'Input': the input protein UniProt identifier.
    • 'Output': the output protein UniProt identifier.
    • '{Property}': the value for the DP holding for the input/output pair.
  • graphs directory contains the graph representations protein subgraphs. We provide the graph in .dot format.
