Description

This deliverable presents the work carried out within E-RIHS IP to support the establishment of new E-RIHS National Nodes and strengthen the existing ones.

It provides a comprehensive overview of the methodology employed to identify key challenges faced by both prospective and established Nodes in preparing to participate in the future E-RIHS ERIC. The results of a detailed National Nodes survey are then presented. They served as the basis for organising two targeted workshops: one focused on already established National Nodes (Krakow, June 2023) and another aimed at potential new European or international partners (online, May 2024).

The deliverable concludes with concise practical guidelines to address the most commonly encountered challenges and offer perspectives for the implementation and growth of E-RIHS National Nodes. This guidance aims at facilitating the integration of National Node into the distributed infrastructure and strengthen their role within the heritage science community.
