Supplementary material to "Establishing a framework to assess the contribution of regional research topics to sustainable development goals (SDGs)"

This document contains supplementary material that complements and expands Figures 2 and 3 of the main article, providing detailed analysis and enhanced visualizations that facilitate the comparison between the Region of Murcia and the European Union (EU-15). The supplementary material includes two detailed maps: the first, labeled Figure S1, presents a micro-level topics map of the Region of Murcia and Europe (EU-15); the second, labeled Figure S2, displays a map of SDG 13 micro-level topics for the same regions. This additional material is essential for a full appreciation of the differences and similarities in sustainable development research themes between these two geographies.
